About the Role

Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Chartered Building Surveyor to join our Property & Building Control division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance on building surveys, ensuring compliance with the latest building regulations and technical standards.
  • Conduct thorough building and measured surveys to identify defects and recommend remedial work.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs, administer contracts, and negotiate with loss adjusters.
  • Offer expert advice on planning applications, appeals, boundary disputes, government grants, and arbitrations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and specifications for remedial work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree qualification from a RICS-approved institution.
  • MRICS Chartered status.
  • Extensive survey experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
