We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our team at Willing Care. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care during orthopaedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room for orthopaedic procedures, ensuring all required equipment and supplies are readily available.
  • Provide critical assistance to the surgical team during orthopaedic surgeries by proficiently passing instruments and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a sterile and meticulously organized surgical environment throughout procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and seamless coordination of care.
  • Offer compassionate support and guidance to patients and their families before and after orthopaedic procedures.

To qualify for this role, you will need:

  • Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner qualification.
  • Valid and clear NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Proven and substantial experience in orthopaedic surgical settings, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the specific challenges and requirements of these procedures.
  • Strong command of sterile technique and infection control protocols, coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
