Job Summary

Lord Accounting & Finance is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. As an essential part of the team, you will be responsible for managing and processing invoices and ensuring timely payments to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the expenses inbox on a daily basis, ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and update the accounting system accordingly.
  • Summarize staff expenses in accordance with deadlines to ensure timely payroll processing.
  • Provide cover for the Purchase Ledger Controller during absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience in an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role and excellent skills in MS packages, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
