Experienced Housekeeper Wanted for Private Residence

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced live out Housekeeper for a private residence in Wimbledon. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and orderliness in a busy household.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizing. They will also be required to coordinate with the Nanny/PA to ensure a smooth-running household.
The family consists of 2 adults and 3 children, with a busy schedule that requires a reliable and efficient Housekeeper. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and organizing
- Coordinate with the Nanny/PA to ensure a smooth-running household
- Care for 1 cat and 2 gerbils when the family is away
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the Nanny/PA
- Take charge of answering the door, deliveries, and other household tasks
- Keep on top of things that break, wobble, or wear and tear, and alert the Nanny/PA or the Mum
- Small bits of sewing, such as buttons and small tears
- Keeping on top of stains on sofas, carpets, and other household items
- Reorganize and tidy cupboards when the family is away
- Deal with all grocery deliveries
- Cooking - ideally, you should be able to help cook some of the kids' meals and the Principal's meals (2-3 times a week)
Requirements:
- Proven housekeeping experience in a private residence
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Very good English is a MUST
- Someone who is a self-starter and who will hit the ground running
Benefits:
- Salary: 40k-50k gross per annum depending on experience
- Extra pay for babysitting or working extra hours
