Science Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Science Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to enable their academic success.

Our learners are situated throughout East Sussex, particularly in Eastbourne, Heathfield, Crowborough, Uckfield, and Hastings. You will provide in-person, daytime tuition to learners who are struggling to meet age-related academic expectations.

• Create engaging lesson plans and deliver tuition that inspires and teaches.
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.

• Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
• Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
• Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
• A commitment to safeguarding.
• Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
