Job Overview

Finitas is seeking a highly skilled Delegated Authority Officer to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the governance of all delegated authorities written, attending Lloyd's or Market DA meetings, and providing day-to-day support to junior members of the team.

This is a well-rounded delegated authority position that requires a strong understanding of the London market and its regulations. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Delegated Authority and support two junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the governance of all delegated authorities written.
  • Attend Lloyd's or Market DA meetings.
  • Provide day-to-day support to junior members of the team.
  • Coordinate and oversee the annual review of the Delegated Authority process guides.
  • Deliver the quarterly Delegated Authority Controls Reviews and present findings.
  • Process Lead DCOM entries.
  • Process New Coverholder Applications.
  • Process mid-term contract changes.
  • Deputise for the Head of Delegated Authority as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical delegated authority role.
  • Experience of Coverholder Applications and conducting Coverholder due diligence.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build relationships at varying levels with both internal and external parties.
  • Collaborative team player but also has the ability to work independently.
  • Able to multi-task whilst working in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Please note that you will be required to travel to their London office 2-3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Delegated Authority Analyst looking to take the next step up. You will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and drive a small team, deputise for the Head of Delegated Authority, and work in a dynamic role that touches on all areas of delegated authority.
