Senior Management Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team at Resourcery Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our entrepreneurial business in South Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information for effective decision-making.
  • Produce full monthly management account packs and present to the Finance Director and board.
  • Develop and implement new reporting standards, utilizing Excel to advance current modelling and forecasting procedures.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership.
  • Manage and monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial risks.
  • Challenge existing financial controls and oversee all tax submissions and affiliated requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
  • Ad hoc project involvement, including a new system implementation.

Candidate Profile:

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Commercial mindset.
  • Ability to understand and challenge numbers across the business.
  • Critical and analytical mindset.
  • Prior staff management experience ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills.
