About the Role

Petroplan is seeking a highly skilled SURF Offshore Field Engineer to join our Operations team in Aberdeen. This is a permanent staff position with a competitive annual salary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to a project in preparation for execution onboard the vessel and ensuring that construction activities are performed in accordance with procedures in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support offshore operations and ensure that construction activities are performed in accordance with procedures
  • Assist in the preparation of the project execution onboard the vessel
  • Ensure that equipment is checked before and during mobilisation
  • Collaborate with the Offshore Manager to undertake engineering tasks relating to offshore operations

Requirements:

  • Possess Seafarer Medical (ENG1) and OEUK Medical
  • SURF certification
  • Possess survival certificate to OPITO standard
  • Appropriate offshore professional experience in subsea construction with installation of flexible risers and umbilicals
