Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an undergraduate or postgraduate student in Psychology or a related field to join our Honorary team of clinicians within our Excelling performance IAPT service - Havering Talking Therapies.
Job Summary:The primary purpose of this role is to support and enhance the psychological care of service users accessing Havering IAPT Talking Therapies Service. The successful candidate will have a passion for mental health and a strong interest in pursuing a career as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner or Trainee CBT Therapist.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting therapy groups, including writing and organizing therapy groups, assisting with recruitment, and co-facilitating groups as appropriate.
- Calling patients to ascertain administrative information and conducting outreach work/projects.
- Auditing and data analysis for treatments, as well as ad-hoc tasks instructed by management.
- Conducting triages under close clinical supervision and holding a small caseload of clients accessing 1:1 therapy.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Any type of mental health experience, such as a support worker, key worker, or trainee post.
- An undergraduate degree in Psychology and/or an MSC in Psychology or a related field.
- Knowledge of common mental health problems and key Rogerian Core Principles skills and knowledge.
