Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Press Shop team at The Job People. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of press setters and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure team members are aware of daily targets and responsibilities, and that they follow defined manufacturing procedures and quality requirements.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure full adherence to 5S practices at all times.
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve problems, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Identify business improvement opportunities and implement changes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
