About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Executive to join our Operations team at Huel. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a procurement strategy that drives business growth and improves our product range.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives and takes our ingredient portfolio to the next level.
• Cross-functional collaboration with our NPD and technical teams to understand their material requirements and ensure we have the best products.
• Supplier relationship management to build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and establish new ones.
• Monitor supplier technical, ethical, and sustainability standards to ensure we meet our high standards.
• Cost negotiation to secure the best prices for our business.
• Work closely with our Materials Planning Team to ensure we have the right materials in place.
• Mentor and coach other members of the procurement team to support their development.
• Lead on procurement projects to drive business growth and improve our product range.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a bright and experienced procurement professional with at least 3-4 years of experience in a procurement or senior buying position. Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is an added bonus. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
