The Role

We are seeking a talented Optical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our dispensing team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, supporting dispensing activities, and providing expert product knowledge to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring every customer leaves our store feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Support dispensing activities, including selecting and fitting frames to customers.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, including lenses and frames, to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1 year of retail experience, preferably in the optical industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.Initiative, positivity, and patience, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, with a focus on delivering perfectly fitting frames.A genuine passion for spectacles, including their design and history.What We Offer

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. The salary is £24,960 per annum, commensurate with experience.
