Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hoare Lea. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for our clients
  • Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects
  • Take responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work
  • Engage with junior support staff in their day-to-day activities
  • Work with the team leader to monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered
  • Look at new ways of working and take time out for innovation and research
  • Create and maintain a high reputation within the industry

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards submission
  • Previous consultancy or contracting experience in M&E Design & Specification, Surveying & Reporting, and Project Management
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external clients
