Position Overview

Carbon60 is seeking a skilled Operations Test Engineer to enhance our testing methodologies and apparatus for a variety of electrical and electronic products. This role is pivotal in leading the transformation of our testing protocols to ensure maximum efficiency in production while meeting testing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support for manufacturing and product evaluation processes.
  • Develop comprehensive product and testing documentation, including test plans and reports.
  • Define and create test equipment and instrumentation, focusing on data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Design detailed solutions for test rig hardware requirements.
  • Assist in the implementation of product design modifications in production, collaborating with New Product Development (NPD) and procurement teams.
  • Foster strong collaboration with the NPD team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Solid understanding of electronic principles and logic circuits.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics.
  • Strong grasp of electronic signal processing and analysis using standard components.
  • Excellent electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PCB design and relevant software tools.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation devices and calibration processes.
  • Background in a production or production support environment.
  • Experience in equipment development, programming, commissioning, and maintenance, with knowledge of C, C++, and PLC systems being advantageous.
