Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Worker / Personal Assistant to provide essential support to a vibrant and imaginative young individual with complex care requirements.

Role Responsibilities

This part-time, flexible position involves assisting an 8-year-old boy who has a range of interests, including sports, creative activities, and engaging in various hobbies. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting daily living activities and personal care.
  • Facilitating communication through alternative methods.
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers using specialized equipment.
  • Encouraging participation in extracurricular activities and social events.
  • Promoting independence and self-help skills.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in childcare and special educational needs.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A non-smoking/vaping lifestyle.
  • A passion for helping others achieve their potential.
Working Hours

Shifts will be available during:

  • Weekday Mornings: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Weekday Afternoons: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM onwards

Additional shifts may be available during school holidays based on your availability.
