Job Summary:

Pertemps Swindon is seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to fill the role of Postperson. As a Postperson, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to residential areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and load mail and packages into a vehicle for delivery
  • Deliver mail and packages to residential areas, ensuring timely and efficient service
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Operate a hand-held computer to navigate delivery routes and track progress
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Physical fitness to withstand regular walking and standing
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions:

This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain and shine. You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with shifts starting around 11 am and working Monday to Saturday.
