Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team at smartworkingio. This role involves engaging with clients to design, implement, and customize SharePoint solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implementing and customizing SharePoint and SharePoint-based solutions for clients.
  2. Architecting SharePoint solutions based on client specifications.
  3. Learning and adapting to new technologies as required.
  4. Managing project deliveries and providing progress reports to management.
  5. Supporting team members with SharePoint configurations.

Essential Technical Skills:

  1. Proficient understanding of SharePoint architecture and Microsoft best practices (minimum 2 years experience).
  2. Knowledge of Content Services, including Managed Metadata, Site Content Types, and Site Columns.
  3. Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for client-side code customization, with experience in developing web parts and application customizers being advantageous.
  4. Ability to configure Managed and Crawled Properties to enhance search functionality.
  5. Experience utilizing SharePoint API and Graph API for operations such as GET and POST to interact with SharePoint lists and libraries.
  6. Solid understanding of the SharePoint security model, including knowledge of extending security policies (desirable).

Experience Requirements:

  1. Strong customer-facing skills to discuss solutions with clients.
  2. Experience in implementing solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  3. Ability to analyze requirements and develop corresponding solutions.

Success in this role will be defined by the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams, delivering robust solutions that meet client needs.
