Position Overview: As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, delivering 3rd line support to a diverse user base utilizing Windows 7 / 10 and SCCM. You will also serve as the Technical Lead, guiding and mentoring junior team members.

Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be eligible for SC and DV Clearance.

Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days per week on-site, with an initial 5-day on-site requirement for the first few weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve incidents and problems efficiently.
  • Offer Technical Lead support to junior site teams and projects.
  • Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) within a complex environment.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Group Policy and AGPM.
  • Oversee MECM management relevant to team roles.
  • Utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell.
  • Implement application packaging technologies.
  • Package and distribute software components across the Enterprise using Microsoft MECM.
  • Support the corporate IT environment.
  • Collaborate within business and security frameworks (ITIL, JSP, etc.).
  • Lead and participate in projects addressing service-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in MECM Administration, including software distribution, OS deployment, and monthly patches.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBS.
  • Knowledge of software and hardware integration and compatibility testing.
  • In-depth understanding of Group Policy, AGPM, and client endpoints.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows 10/11.
  • Familiarity with operating system build and delivery mechanisms.
  • Experience with VMWare products and virtualization technologies (Horizon View, VSphere).
  • Expertise in application packaging technologies, including Application Discovery and Application Virtualization (App-V).

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with application whitelisting, preferably using Applocker.
  • Knowledge of software packaging and application packaging technologies, including Installshield / Adminstudio, Orca, and VBS scripting.
  • Understanding of endpoint device control.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
  • Familiarity with software testing using Sysinternals Tools, including Procmon.
