Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including customer and supplier agreements, terms and conditions, heads of terms, and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Supporting the sales and purchase teams on contract review and contract management.
  • Advising on potential disputes and providing expert guidance on commercial matters.

Company Secretarial:

  • Supporting the company secretarial function, including share transfers and corporate filings.
  • Assisting with draft Board and Management agendas and minutes.
  • Assisting with the organisation and running of the AGM.

Other Legal Matters:

  • Providing expert advice on a variety of other legal areas, including property, lease matters, trusts, environmental queries, and intellectual property.
  • Assisting with the development of company precedents and policies.
  • Providing support on departmental administrative matters.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of commercial law and company secretarial procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
