About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at St. George's Primary School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and activities, ensuring that students receive the best possible education.
  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis, providing additional support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons, including preparing materials and resources.
  • Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment, ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing regular updates and feedback as needed.
Requirements
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification - NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential.
