We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Practitioner at Recovery Focus. As a Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse and associated health and social issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a caseload of clients using psychosocial interventions to reduce substance misuse.
  • Develop opportunities, initiatives, and activities that support the development of a recovery community in the area.
  • Liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Engage with clients in a variety of service delivery settings, including community-based programs.
  • Write client records and report data requirements to ensure accurate tracking and evaluation of services.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in health/social care, youth and community care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).
  • Experience working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care.
  • Good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health-related issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to the principles of confidentiality and data protection.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.
