We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Aviva. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that key business goals are understood and requirements are documented.
You will work closely with design, development, and test colleagues to deliver high-quality business solutions that meet the needs of the business. This will involve participating in and leading business, Scrum, and project meetings, as well as leading other business analysts to develop the change strategy.
Delivering for customers is a top priority, so you will need to consider their needs and be prepared to challenge decisions that are not in their best interests. You will also need to understand other change initiatives, recognize dependencies, and determine if business benefits can be realized through change synergies.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure key business goals are understood and requirements are documented
- Work with design, development, and test colleagues to deliver high-quality business solutions
- Participate in and lead business, Scrum, and project meetings
- Lead other business analysts to develop the change strategy
- Consider customer needs and challenge decisions that are not in their best interests
- Understand other change initiatives, recognize dependencies, and determine if business benefits can be realized through change synergies
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with facilitating
- Ability to lead, negotiate, and influence to challenge and drive necessary changes
- Experience of working on medium to large-scale assignments
- Detailed knowledge and experience of application of business analysis tools and techniques
- Salary circa national £65,000, London circa £80,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
- Bonus opportunity - 10% of annual salary (actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's)
