Fraser Dove International is partnering with a leading life sciences organisation to find an experienced leader to drive medical input and strategy for their oncology portfolio, focusing on lung, bladder, and prostate cancer.
Your Key Objectives:- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific and clinical advances in lung cancer.
- Contribute to the local evidence generation plan, identifying data gaps and proposing mechanisms to fill them.
- Lead and collaborate on projects and activities in support of the medical plan.
- Develop a good understanding of NHS issues affecting the therapy area, including NHS priorities and market access issues or barriers.
- Be involved in the development of the medical affairs strategy for the lung cancer therapy area.
- Collaborate with Market Access colleagues, providing medical expertise on Health Technology Appraisal submissions.
- Review materials and activities as a final signatory.
- Engage with key clinicians and academics to stay updated on the latest scientific and clinical advances.
- Lead clinical advisory board meetings.
- Support the medical plan by collaborating on various projects and activities.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- A good understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice.
- The ability to learn quickly, build, and maintain relationships.
- Strong project management skills and demonstrated experience in leading clinical/scientific programs with a high degree of autonomy.
- ABPI code final signatory status (essential for the Bladder Cancer position).
- Experience supporting Health Technology Appraisal Submissions.
- A strong clinical background and/or experience in lung cancer.
- GMC registered physician or pharmacist registered in the UK.
