CNC Miller Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines, performing CMM inspection, and producing inspection reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components
  • Perform CMM inspection and produce inspection reports
  • Use initiative to improve quality and throughput
  • Work to scheduled lists and operate within a 5's manufacturing environment
  • Meet ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Demonstrable experience of CNC programming is desirable
  • Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
  • Thorough experience of multi-axis CNC machining
  • Use of inspection tools and CMM is desirable
  • Thorough experience of reading and interpreting component drawings and instructions
  • Working to high quality standards
  • Engineering apprenticeship or NVQs/City and Guilds is desirable
