Training Instructor

As a Training Instructor at EDF, you will play a crucial role in delivering technical skills and knowledge to various phases of the nuclear lifecycle. With a Mechanical, Electrical, or I&C Engineering/Technician background, you will be responsible for training and developing the skills of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver training to up to 20 people at a time, as well as coaching and mentoring trainees when needed to support learning.
- Act as course coordinator for assigned training area(s) and evaluate the effectiveness of training courses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for development and updates of material.
- Communicate with line managers across the existing fleet of UK power stations for the successful development of competence within their staff.
- Contribute to the business plan of the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA) and support the achievement of company organisational goals.
- A relevant training qualification and experience in deploying effective training methodologies (Systematic Approach to Training).
- Experience in training, learning, and continual improvement processes, as well as promoting training across a large, complex major project organisation.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle different priorities, working well independently with the capability to influence.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a thirst for learning and able to get to grips with fundamental Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects.
