Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a Community CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health disorders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Clinical Governance: Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that high-quality care is delivered to patients and their families.
- Service Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of service strategies and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to medical and non-medical staff on mental health issues and treatment options.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and service delivery.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure seamless care for patients.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: CCT or equivalent in Psychiatry.
- Experience: Significant experience in working with children and adolescents with mental health disorders.
- Skills: Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
