We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Edge Careers. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Measure and value works on site and from drawings for valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Agree valuation dates and prepare and submit interim valuations in accordance with those dates.
- Administer and advise on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions.
- Manage subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts.
- Submit Cost Value Reconciliations.
- HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- Extensive experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors.
- Experience of working within the Construction industry for a main contractor, specifically on Design and Build; as well as sound knowledge of JCT and NEC Conditions of Contract.
