About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our team at Dunster House Ltd. As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating 3D parametric CAD models and 2D technical drawings for our production facility and customer instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Producing high-quality CAD models and drawings
  • Maintaining and updating the CAD library with product parts
  • Keeping drawings up to date and performing other tasks as required
  • Aiding with the development of new designs
  • Translating drawings between CAD systems
  • Checking designs and relaying information to relevant factories/departments
  • Ensuring work is delivered to set deadlines
Requirements
  • 1 year's experience using Autodesk Inventor
  • 3 years' experience within a similar parametric CAD environment
  • Excellent working experience of Autodesk Inventor
  • Knowledge of Vault PDM
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Willingness to learn our products assembly processes

  • Normal hours of work are Monday – Friday; 8:30-17:30
