Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist in the end-to-end payroll process. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation and company policies.
- Ensure new starter and leaver information is uploaded and accurate, and address payroll-related queries from staff.
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure all payroll changes are reflected accurately.
- Prepare payroll reports for management as required, and participate in audits related to payroll.
- Support with other finance-related tasks as required, and contribute to the development of the finance team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar payroll role is preferred but not essential.
- Background in accounts or strong interest in getting into the payroll industry.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills, with proficiency in using payroll software and MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

- A competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £28,000 per year.
