Job Overview

Position: Technical Trainer/Technical Specialist

A leading global eCommerce organization is in search of a Technical Trainer/Technical Specialist to contribute during a pivotal phase of innovation and modernization.

Role Summary:

The appointed Technical Trainer/Technical Specialist will be instrumental in overseeing the creation and execution of both online and hybrid training initiatives, focusing on the company’s Content Management System (CMS), Search & Merchandising tools, and Product Information Management (PIM) solutions.

To excel in this position, a robust technical background is essential to effectively assist both business and technical teams, as well as end-users throughout the implementation and launch phases.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage in requirement analysis and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop comprehensive training manuals and facilitate training sessions for users.
  • Offer continuous support to users, addressing training requirements and resolving issues.
  • Identify deficiencies in global training materials and adapt them as needed.
  • Participate in large-scale technology rollouts, contributing to the modernization strategy.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to support the integration of their solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of Search and Merchandising solutions, preferably Attraqt (Fredhopper).
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, ideally inRiver and .Net.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems, such as Drupal, PHP, or StoryBlok.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering training content for business users.
  • Experience in transitioning systems to cloud-based platforms is advantageous.
