We are seeking an industrially experienced and motivated Coating Chemist to join our R&D team at Pulpex Ltd.

• Develop and formulate high-performance coatings to deliver enhanced performance and sustainability in packaging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to characterise coating properties and optimise formulations for deployment onto Pulpex Packaging.
• Work with the barrier chemistry team to develop and optimise new coating formulations for specific performance criteria.
• Research and identify new methods to support critical research areas in coatings development.

• Master's Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science).
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience working in an industrial setting.
• Experience in packaging industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding of polymer chemistry, surface chemistry, and coatings formulation principles.
• Proficient in use and interpretation of analytical methods for chemical characterisations.
