We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team at Watergate Bay Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef and Head Chef in the effective and efficient organisation, supervision, and control of the kitchen operation.
- Prepare, cook, and portion all food dishes, including staff meals, to the hotel's standards of quality and quantity.
- Maintain the hotel's standards of department and personal appearance, cleanliness, and hygiene of the kitchen areas.
- Comply with all instructions given by immediate supervisors.
- Prepare for the day's business in accordance with projected needs.
- Follow all schedules within the kitchen and complete daily check sheets and temperature logs.
- Assist colleagues in stocking up when necessary.
- Ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the kitchen and back-of-house areas.
- Responsible for undertaking various tasks during the preparation, storage, and service of food and other associated tasks.
- Maintain a high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness while in the workplace.
- Maintain an organised, clean, and safe workplace, not only for yourself but also for those around you.
- Food Hygiene certificate
- Flexible attitude to working hours and variable shift patterns

- NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent as a minimum
