About the Role of Site Manager:

In the capacity of Site Manager, your primary responsibility will be to supervise mechanical operations, directing site pipe fitters, welders, and ductwork specialists.

The Site Manager will be instrumental in defining project scopes, procuring materials, issuing necessary permits, and ensuring strict compliance with mechanical safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate and procure materials.
  • Collaborate with team members regarding project timelines and labor needs.
  • Distribute Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for tasks.
  • Organize site mechanical and electrical drawings and manage documentation.
  • Issue permits and supervise electrical and mechanical subcontractors.
  • Assist during the commissioning phase and related permit processes.
  • Perform mechanical site safety inspections and complete documentation on Procore.
  • Ensure adherence to safe working practices and mechanical safety protocols.
  • Finalize red line drawings for as-built documentation upon project completion.
  • Manage testing certifications and ensure appropriate approvals.
  • Maintain daily online reporting through Procore.
  • Ensure all required drawings are accessible to site teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar Site Manager position.
  • Familiarity with permit systems.
  • NVQ certification in Industrial and Commercial Heating and Ventilation.
  • Experience in project scoping and material procurement.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, panel schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid IPAF, PASMA, and CSCS ECS card certifications.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
  • Proactive mindset and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional people management abilities.
