About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Aycliffe Centre in Durham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 10-18 who are residing in our secure unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a keyworker for young people and provide a stable and supportive environment
  • Engage and stimulate young people through various activities and programs
  • Administer medication as needed and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in site risk assessments and contribute to the development of care plans
  • Provide advocacy and support to young people, promoting their well-being and independence
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for care and a commitment to providing exceptional support to vulnerable young people. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A background in care is not essential, but desirable.
