About the Role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Partner to join our team at Marktlink in Bristol. As a key member of our deal team, you will be responsible for building and managing a close-knit team of deal makers, developing and launching a dynamic M&A office, and acquiring leads and completing M&A transactions in the mid-market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement ambitious business plans for the Bristol market in collaboration with other Marktlink partners and colleagues.
  • Draw up and implement commercial and marketing activities to establish Marktlink as a leading M&A firm in Bristol.
  • Put together a winning team of at least three to four members, with the potential to grow to 25 team members or more.
  • Acquire leads and complete M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side) in the Bristol mid-market.
Requirements
  • Native-level English language skills are essential.
  • 7-10 years' experience in Corporate Finance Advisory (Big 4, M&A Boutique, Corporate Finance firm).
  • Strong focus on high-quality service provision.
  • Technically strong, generating trust through expertise.
  • Outgoing personality, strong communicator, commercially energetic, intrinsically curious, driven 'entrepreneur'.
  • An excellent CV in terms of professional qualifications and career path.
  • High IQ and EQ; analytically sharp, excellent numeracy skills, and strong strategic insight.
