Job Summary:

Norton Way Group is a leading automotive group seeking a highly skilled and experienced technician to join our team. As a Qualified Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards and contributing to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and services to vehicles, ensuring exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Interpret instructions from job cards and repair orders, utilizing your technical expertise to deliver accurate and efficient results.
  • Collaborate with the parts department to source necessary parts for repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform road tests and sign off warranty repairs, maintaining the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Accurately record and report work done and tests carried out, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing technical and product inquiries with confidence and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and techniques, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of the industry.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with a strong foundation in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Proven experience working with EV and HV vehicles, with a deep understanding of their unique requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified technician, with a track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Full manual driving license, with a clean driving record.
  • Must have own tools, with a commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and customers.
