Product and Compliance Specialist

Join Anne Corder Recruitment in this exciting opportunity to work with a growing furniture manufacturer and wholesaler. As a Product and Compliance Specialist, you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the supply chain and customers to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The role involves periodic travel to the Far East, where you will be responsible for liaising with potential new and existing suppliers, assessing their standards and audit capabilities, and managing the onboarding process to ensure customer requirements are met.

You will have full oversight of Quality, Technical, and Product Regulatory compliance, staying up-to-date with the latest manufacturing technologies, materials, and production techniques to enhance quality and innovation while prioritizing safety, environmental impact, and sustainability.

Strong collaboration is required with the company's Commercial and Operations Teams to ensure all aspects of the business support the product lifecycle. You will work closely with key account managers to drive continuous improvement and implement initiatives such as HIGG, EUDR, SMETA, and customer-driven action plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance: delivered through robust quality testing and auditing
  • Supplier Management: assessing and evaluating supplier standards and audit capabilities
  • Compliance Management: ensuring full oversight of Quality, Technical, and Product Regulatory compliance
  • Process Improvement: working with key account managers to drive continuous improvement and implement initiatives
