Job Title: Cloud IT Project Manager

Job Description:

Copello is pleased to be partnered with an international consulting and technology organisation, recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join the UK team onsite with a key customer based in Glasgow.

The IT Project Manager will have a strong background in Azure Cloud, with proven experience of leading and delivering cloud-based projects. With a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects, excellent organisational and leadership skills and deep expertise in Azure Cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management – Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
  2. Azure / AWS Cloud Expertise – Utilise your expertise to design, implement and manage cloud-based solutions that meet project and business requirements.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Client Engagement – Work closely with clients whilst providing project updates, maintaining strong relationships, fostering loyalty and ensuring long-term satisfaction.

Requirements:

  1. PM Experience – Have a proven track record in a similar position delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget. Ideally have experience of Agile Scrum & Kanban.
  2. Technical Experience – In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Azure Cloud services, including architecture, deployment and management, as well as Azure Synapse, PySpark, SQL, Jira, etc.
  3. Certifications – Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar (APM, Prince 2, etc.) and Azure certifications (Microsoft Certified, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).

This position is based in Glasgow but offers a very attractive hybrid working approach.
