Network Engineer Role

As a Network Engineer with eTeam, you will be part of an established Network Operations team working with other Network engineers. You will be supported by an extended Capgemini resolver team, providing a collaborative environment for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 3 Network support, ensuring prompt resolution of network incidents.
  • Implement network changes via ITSM requests, utilizing your expertise in network protocols and management tools.
  • Integrate with the established team, demonstrating a strong 'can do' attitude and willingness to progress.
  • Support and training will be provided to ensure further development and growth in your role.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, ensuring seamless network operations.
Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI software-defined networks, including multi-site and multi-pod configurations.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols, such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Proficiency in network management tools like SolarWinds and Citrix NetScaler.
  • Experience with network firewalls, including Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, and Cisco ASA.
  • Knowledge of identity services, including AAA and Cisco Client.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fault-find complex routing issues, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
