About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Advisory Manager to join our team at Iconic Resourcing. As a key member of our Business Advisory Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice to our clients across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Advisory Work: You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing annual tax return compliance services, and delivering advisory work on a range of tax-related matters.
  • Team Leadership: You will lead a team of tax professionals, delegating work effectively and monitoring progress to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Client Management: You will be responsible for managing client relationships, working closely with other teams to ensure all client service requirements are met.
  • Proposal Development: You will develop proposal documents for new clients, including quoting for new work and onboarding new clients according to our firm's processes.
  • Technical Expertise: You will take responsibility for delivering technical articles, presentations, and blogs relevant to your area of expertise.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: You will hold a relevant professional tax qualification, such as CA, ATT, or CTA.
  • Experience: You will have previous experience working in a similar role, with a strong track record of managing a client portfolio and delivering high-quality work.
  • Technical Skills: You will have expertise in compliance and advisory work, with experience using Alphatax and CCH.
