Overview:

About the Role:
We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established facilities management company. We are currently on the lookout for either an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work within a commercial environment on a continental shift basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks alongside a dedicated maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform lighting tasks including small installations, fault-finding, and lamp replacement.
  • Conduct emergency lighting tests.
  • Manage AHU/FCU maintenance including filter changes.
  • Oversee control panel operations.
  • Replace ballasts as necessary.
  • Monitor BMS systems for temperature regulation.
  • Execute all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Maintain and update maintenance logbooks.
  • Handle plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets.
  • Service pumps and motors.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold electrical, mechanical, or plumbing qualifications (City & Guilds Level 2 & 3, including 17th/18th edition for electrical).
  • Ability to provide copies of relevant trade certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled with strong communication abilities.
  • Client-facing experience is preferred.
  • Available to start immediately or at short notice.
