Production Shift Manager

Ganymede Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Shift Production Manager to join their team at a leading train operating company. As a key member of the depot team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the depot, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee depot production on a shift basis, ensuring all activity complies with approved schedules and ISO 9001 standards.
- Prepare production plans for train sets across depots, ensuring timely completion of maintenance, servicing, and cleaning.
- Ensure a safe working environment, conducting regular depot inspections and reporting any accidents, incidents, or near misses.
- Act as Chief Fire Warden at the depot, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
About You:
We are looking for a highly organized and communicative individual with excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of quality management systems. You will have a recognized qualification in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering, with significant experience in managing large train depots and fleet maintenance activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for report writing, investigations, and documenting incidents.
