About the Role

GreenPower Developments Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Site Operations and Maintenance Coordinator to join their Asset Management Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician with an electrical bias to work in a slightly different role, assuming responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of 6 sites in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage site work schedules to ensure efficient operation of sites.
  • Conduct high-level H&S audits of 3rd party contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular general site inspections and maintain records of condition and manage specialist contractors where required to conduct more detailed inspections.
  • Monitor production and operations regularly through SCADA etc to identify and address any faults.
  • Manage regular maintenance works to site equipment and infrastructure.
  • Manage ongoing habitat management or environmental mitigation works.
  • Ensure building/site security and safety systems are maintained in good working order.
  • Maintain project inspection records and maintenance logs.
  • Manage and in some cases undertake minor maintenance works, including cleaning hydro intakes, replacing building water supply filters & lighting, weed management etc.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing operations and maintenance of renewable energy sites.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to produce accurate, succinct and informative inspection reports.
  • Proficient use of Windows based IT systems and basic office software such as emails, word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
  • Effective time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to create and maintain high quality, detailed records of work undertaken and planned.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • First aid qualification and other H&S related certifications such as manual handling.
  • High ethical and quality standards.
  • Flexible approach to work, with drive and determination to see work completed on time.

  • Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
