Food Production Operative

We are seeking a skilled Food Production Operative to join our team in North Curry, Somerset. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for handling and processing raw meat in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate food production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow production schedules and instructions to meet quality and quantity standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the production area, adhering to strict food safety protocols.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production and inventory as required.
- Experience in a food production environment is preferred but not essential.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Own transport is essential due to the rural location of the site.
