Job Overview

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Freight Forwarding department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless customs clearance procedures for our clients.

This is a 4 on 4 off position, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. During training, you will work Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in export customs clearances to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Effectively manage T-Forms and the NCTS Transit System to minimize delays and optimize efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of import customs clearances, including Port Health rules and pertinent licenses.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant software products, including Chief, Destin8, NCTS, CNS, and Descartes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customs clearance procedures.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in exports or imports, with a strong understanding of customs clearance procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities, with a methodical and logical approach to problem-solving.
