Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a group of upstream oil analysts at BloombergNEF, the world's leading independent provider of analysis, tools, data, and research to decision-makers advancing the future of energy.
  • Shape BNEF's overall business strategy and research agenda across the energy and technology space by giving input to management and the commercial teams.
  • Write insightful, thought-leading analysis that informs BNEF clients worldwide.
  • Contribute and help to edit research produced across oil and renewable fuel topics to ensure it is of extraordinary quality.
  • Support business development through client interactions and collaborating with commercial teams.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable and significant experience in analyzing oil market dynamics gained within a research, analysis, consulting, publishing, trading, energy/utilities, financial, or investment environment.
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds.
  • A track record of thinking critically and developing well-structured and thoughtful analysis by cutting through the noise of data, extracting key patterns, applying skepticism, and challenging conventional wisdom.
