The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bricklayer Apprenticeship Tutor to join our Construction School team. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding and supporting apprentices through their journey to becoming skilled bricklayers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective training sessions on both practical and theoretical aspects of bricklaying.
  • Assess apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Manage a caseload of apprentices, providing guidance and support throughout their apprenticeship program.
  • Liaise with employers to ensure apprentices receive relevant on-the-job training and experience.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programs.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven occupational competence in bricklaying, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • A recognized assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1 Award, IQAM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with apprentices and employers.
