Devonshire is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to become a vital part of our Risk and Compliance division within a Digital Communications environment located in Sunderland.

This role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities, including risk assessment, compliance oversight, quality assurance, operational governance, and analytical evaluation of results and outputs. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Operations, Client Services, Production, and Development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the impact of modifications in operational workflows.
  • Identify potential procedural risks within Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Review all amendments made to process documentation.
  • Supervise the completion of Risk Control Self-Assessments in Inbound Operations, with findings reported to Client Services on a monthly basis.
  • Oversee all incidents related to quality assurance.
  • Assess investigations submitted by relevant departments, evaluating the quality of work against established success criteria and providing constructive feedback.
  • Draft non-conformance reports for client distribution.
  • Deliver daily Management Information reports to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular data analysis concerning non-conformances, identifying trends for developmental focus.
  • Perform sample audits on behalf of clients and provide Risk Control Self-Assessment documentation on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Conduct internal audits of processes and ensure preventative measures are implemented by each department regarding quality-related incidents.
  • Execute quality checks on various operational processes to ensure staff comprehension of quality standards in their work.

Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Risk Management and Internal Controls.
  • Understanding of Incident Management principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to ensure timely resolution of client inquiries.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive approach.

This position will initially require on-site presence, with a hybrid work option available after a review period.
