Primary School Support Assistant

Zest Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Primary School Teaching Support at a primary school in Tamworth. This is a full-time position starting immediately.
About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and empathetic individual to provide one-on-one support to a student with specific learning needs. The successful candidate will help the student access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored learning strategies and interventions under the guidance of the classroom teacher and SENCO.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the student's individual needs.
- Monitor and track the student's progress, providing feedback to the SENCO and parents/guardians as needed.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Zest Education Ltd is an REC audited agency and is dedicated to safeguarding children. We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
