Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor

At Serve Talent, we are seeking a highly skilled Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop and implement safe operational procedures that take into account all relevant hazards and ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Perform regular site inspections to monitor the effectiveness of our health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all working practices are safe and compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on health and safety issues and risks.
  • Record and analyze incident and accident data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with new legislation and developments in the field of health and safety.
  • Produce management reports, newsletters, and bulletins to keep stakeholders informed.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in occupational health and safety, such as a masters, NVQ, BSC, or NEBOSH national diploma.
  • COSHH training.
  • Experience in formulating, implementing, and revising health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Experience in handling health and safety investigations.
  • Knowledge of ISO and TISAX certification requirements.
